Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: 21 June 2026

1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy explains the rules for using Helpora. Customers and service providers must use the platform lawfully, honestly, and respectfully.

2. Permitted Use

Helpora may be used to discover service providers, create provider profiles, list legitimate services, communicate about service needs, and manage marketplace-related activity in line with our rules.

3. Prohibited Services and Activities

Users and providers must not use Helpora for illegal, fraudulent, harmful, abusive, misleading, or unsafe activities. Prohibited services include fraud, impersonation, illegal goods or services, weapons, controlled substances, hate content, harassment, stolen goods, or any service that violates applicable law or payment processor rules.

4. Provider Responsibilities

Providers must provide accurate profile information, truthful service descriptions, fair pricing, and safe service delivery. Providers must not misrepresent their identity, qualifications, location, experience, or ability to perform a service.

5. Verification and KYC

Helpora may request identity, business, or supporting documentation from providers. We may approve, reject, restrict, suspend, or remove providers where necessary to protect customers and the platform.

6. Payments and Marketplace Operation

Unless clearly stated otherwise, Helpora does not hold customer funds on behalf of providers, does not operate user wallets, and does not provide escrow or wallet-to-wallet transfers. Platform fees may be charged for subscriptions, listings, access, or other Helpora services.

7. Refunds, Cancellations, and Disputes

Where payments are made directly between customers and providers, refunds and cancellations are generally handled between those parties. Helpora may assist with dispute review and may take platform-level action where fraud, misconduct, repeated complaints, or policy violations are found.

8. Enforcement

Helpora may remove listings, restrict features, suspend accounts, reject verification, or permanently remove users or providers who violate this policy or create risk for customers, providers, payment partners, or the platform.

9. Contact

Questions about this policy can be sent through the official Helpora contact form or support email listed on the platform.
